Note: This is a review for Altos Terranova (the upper level of Terranova, which you can access by taking the stairs to the right of the restaurant). As a local here, I highly suggest that you visit this place. The quality of the restaurant downstairs is sub-par at most and it's usually very crowded. If you're looking to get a more private service by an awesome wait staff, I suggest you come here. My top pick food wise is the traditional Oaxacan Mole. There are many other options for a reasonable price compared to other competitors around the area.

Delicious food and great service, in a great location too if you choose to sit outside. Shout out to my waiter Sergio who was very attentive. I had the guacamole con totopos (fried chips), memelitas (ask for sin asiento if you’re vegetarian), and ensalada mixta. Everything was great and suitable for vegetarians :)

What a fun place to dine under the umbrellas on the street, have a drink at at the bar, or to dine upstairs over looking the park. The food is a delicious fusion of traditional flavors with a modern update. We loved the chiles in nograda and the roasted red pepper soup.

Dinner at a table on the edge of the Zocalo. We shared our favorite Botana Oaxaqueno platter. Delicious, and such a bargain!

Came here because we just flew in and it was two minutes walking from our hotel. We were sat immediately (it was Christmas Day) food was good. Service was great for a packed restaurant on a holiday and you really can’t beat that view of the Zocalo. Weds is beers on special. Have a carajillo for desempance. (To help digest.)

As we walked through the plaza, we saw this place and their hosts welcomed us in. I got the buffet and my 2 friends ordered individual meals. Let's talk about the servers: they are amazing, accommodating, and so kind! Second, the food- it was delicious! My buffet selection was good because I wanted to stick with the basics. They were kind enough to get me warm food from the kitchen because the buffet was closing. The drinks are great! We ordered coffee, alcoholic drinks, and non alcoholic. It was all so good! They were so friendly and warm. The restaurant was full. There were groups of people celebrating graduates. The ambiance was so fun! I would highly recommend this restaurant and the bathroom was clean.
